| SECRET. TOBY. Copy to Bar. RM. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} HRC. Wraith II Front Suspension.- Lubricating Coil Pipe Upper Triangle Inner End. We send herewith N.Sch.5010 showing the lubrication coil pipe to the inner end of the upper triangle of the front suspension. The steadying controlling spigot mounted on the sheet metal bracket has been simplified from the corresponding piece on Phantom III and we suggest that it should be made in dixtampo. If it is preferred it could be a mild steel piece but we believe that this would not be so satisfactory for the sweating of the coil pipe. The dimensions have been so arranged that the steady piece will pass right through the bore so avoiding the double olive joint of Phantom III. Unfortunately we cannot use the three-way filter connection on the triangle lever which is in existence on Phantom III, as it does not suit the pipe layout. We have therefore shown a new body for this piece, but for the first car, in order to prevent delay, the Phantom III part can be used, and the rather untidy pipe layout tolerated.
