C. to SG. {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} HS. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} re. REAR TRUNK FITTINGS 23-EX. X4684

Replying to your BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /CGH {W Clough} 4/G28129., re.
the close proximity of the trunks fixing bolt and the
nut of the petrol tank stay on 18-EX., we send herewith
N. scheme 2819. shewing a revised design for 23-EX.
We suggest that the present vertical
petrol tank stay be leaned rearward as shewn on all cars
so that when a trunk is called for no difficulty will
arise.

We have made a slightly modified fixing
to the frame.

These modifications will need to be
fitted to the chassis for 23-EX. (open tourer).
