Wraith Clutch.
With regard to the universal ring for the withdrawal thrust bearing for this clutch, we send M. {Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Sch. 4838 herewith which shows suggestions for reducing cost.
The ring is now a circular piece which can be made from tube.
We propose that the ring be tried without any flat surfaces at the pins although it may be found to be desirable to have flats to bear against the operating levers.
The taper holes for the pins now have the large end outside, but the riveting is all inside. It appears to us that the amount of riveting required is very small and should not in this case be troublesome.
