JAPAN(Experimental Engine) 3.

Thanks to Mr. Hives for his excellent report and
suggestions re. Japan(Experimental Engine) 3. design, we are doing almost exactly what
he wishes, but there are one or two differences of opinion.
Personally I cannot see how we can make the 6 cyl.
engines of our size satisfactory up to the very high speeds.
If I am right we want double too gears and double carburetters.
Speed range of 6 seems limited - see my other memos.
Speed range of 12 cyls. is much greater - i.e. can go
slower, and can go faster, in RPM.
