We are sending you a packing liner,
.065" thick, to go under the cylinder block of B-56-BN. {W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}

This is to enable you to reduce the
compression ratio of the engine from 6.8: 1 to 6.4 : 1,
in order to check the effect on the roughness of the
engine.
