| To RHC. {R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rn. {Mr Robinson} 1634 Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rn {Mr Robinson} 7/LG29.11.27. 10-EX DAMPER. Will you please fit up 10-EX damper with the stronger driving springs (these should give 17-20 lbs. load at 17¾" radius when deflected to stops), and half the damping springs (this should give 9-10 lbs. load in friction at 17¾" radius). We calculate that slack to the extent of .5º on the splines of the driving plate will completely negative the effect of the damper. Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rn. {Mr Robinson} | ||
