Referring to Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} S/MJ.9.6.31 I agree that you should send the car to France with the fittings which have been machined to size and without waiting for production drop forgings.

I note that the main difference between 25-EX now fitted up and which I tried yesterday and the first diamond engine mounting was that, although the latter had torque reaction dampers fitted, they were ~~were~~ not being made use of, whereas on 25-EX they are being made use of.

I certainly remember having seen them on the car I tried some months ago and it was on this account that I could not understand why B. was telling me that these were new features.

I note that you hope to get the car away at the end of next week.

I understand that it is fitted up with all the items enumerated in your Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} S/MJ.19.5.31 with the exception of the flip-flap shutters.

As mentioned to you yesterday I am very anxious to get these along and tested so that they can if possible be introduced on N.2. series.

I also understand that you will fit the car up with a radiator with the USA type of tubes and are making two radiators, one with the small tubes and one with the large so that the efficiency of both can be tested whilst the car is in France.
