We wired you today as follows :-

BRIGGS - SUPER SPORTS LEAVING DERBY 8 A.M. FRIDAY FOR WW.

We are afraid there is no alternative to an early start because we want the car to arrive at WW. in day-light so that R. {Sir Henry Royce} will have an opportunity of examining it and trying it if necessary.

As R. {Sir Henry Royce} is leaving WW. on Saturday, we cannot delay it. We are very keen that you should try this car before it goes to France.

At WW. you will also have an opportunity of trying the improved 20 HP. We are rushing this car to WW. for Mr. Royce to see, although it is not in its final completed state.

[Handwritten note, bottom left]
NJO I think I have a photo of R. {Sir Henry Royce} Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Rg {Mr Rowledge} & these two cars together Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} at WW on this occasion!

[Handwritten note, bottom right]
But was it 15EX or 14EX ?
