Bodies for Wraith:

With reference to the question of coachwork for the six Wraith Chassis now being built, please note as follows:-

(1) For the first chassis we propose to make use of the Enclosed Limousine Body originally intended for Experimental Chassis No.29-G-VI but on which work was suspended some time ago.

We have told Park Ward to proceed with the construction of the body and to finish in black with a fine white line and to upholster the passenger compartment in light plain cloth and the driver's compartment in black leather.

(2) For the second chassis we have told Park Ward to at once commence the construction of an owner driver Touring Limousine, i.e., Saloon with division, as previously built for Experimental Chassis and as shown in drawing No.LEC.5182.

Sg {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} intends to use this and we shall endeavour in accordance with his instructions to arrange for its peak and sun roof to be glazed with Perspex like the Mulliner Bodied Bentley on the Bentley Stand at Earl's Court. We may also arrange for the division window to be electrically operated.

Everything possible is being done to have both bodies ready for despatch to the works by the end of the year.

Details of the bodies for the remaining four chassis have yet to be settled.
