We send herewith a blueprint of Lec.2926 showing the first drawing completed in connection with the revised J.3.

This drawing shows the general scheme of the engine in which an austenitic cast liner is used in conjunction with a monobloc aluminium cylinder and crankcase casting.

Alternatively this can all be made in ordinary cast iron if it is deemed at any time desirable.

R. {Sir Henry Royce} would like you to go ahead with any of the detailing work than can be put in hand from this drawing.

E. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
