INDIA(Production 20 HP. with 4-speed box and Front Wheel Brakes) 3. GENERAL ARRANGEMENT. X.5420
X.5770
X.5380

Before R. {Sir Henry Royce} went away he instructed us to get the
new long frame, and 'X' shaped cross member on to the next
10,000 miles India(Production 20 HP. with 4-speed box and Front Wheel Brakes) car, keeping the remaining components
standard as far as possible.

Hitherto we have not sent you a layout of this
car shewing the resulting angle of transmission, height of frame
etc. We now send N.Sch.2554, giving these particulars, of
which we have sent a print to R. {Sir Henry Royce} , and expect that we shall
shortly get his comments.

The final India(Production 20 HP. with 4-speed box and Front Wheel Brakes) car will have new front and rear
axles, making a still further gain, but the next car we
understand is to have existing axles.
