ADMIRALTY, LONDON, S.W.

20 June, 1915.

[STAMP: RECEIVED 22 JUN 1915]

Gentlemen: X. 1807. Electrical Speed Indicators.

[Handwritten above: X-2125 X.1782]

A small magneto generator and Weston Voltmeter have been obtained, and it is desired to test this outfit for general suitability for Aero Engines.

The magneto, with wiring and driving belt, have been forwarded direct to Derby, but the Weston Voltmeter has been sent to Mr. Royce at St. {Capt. P. R. Strong} Margarets Bay, as I understand he expressed his wish to see the instrument.

Will you please undertake whatever tests may be necessary, and report the results to the Air Department.

Yours truly,
(Signed) W. BRIGGS.
Director, Air Department.
