RE INSTRUMENT BOARD ------------------- Further to our memo of this morning's date, on the subject of Speedometer, we would like to point out that we are still awaiting a clock with a black finish to the dial, and silver lettering. The clock should have a similar type of flange for fixing it to the instrument board as to be in correspondence with the Speedometer Flange. Will you kindly take this question up with Messrs Elliott Brothers in order that they may deliver us a sample clock as early as possible. Their representative on his visit to our Works, pointed out that they could replace the existing dial on one of the standard type of clocks, by one which would meet our requirements. It is very important that we should obtain a clock at an early date. At the same time, in order to obtain attention, you could point out to Messrs Elliott Bros. that if they produce a correct form of dial we should recommend their clock as well as their Speedometer to our Customers.
