Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}

When PN. {Mr Northey} takes 8-EX car XXXXXXXX in order to try out the lightened axle and hydraulic dampers to the front, he proposes, after trying the car in England, to take it on the Continent.

We think this would be a very good opportunity of getting them to try the pressure cooling system. We appear to have lost the records of how we fitted this up on 10-EX car. As we should like to fit up 8-EX car in a similar manner, will you please send us sketches of what you remember 10-EX was like.
