| Rota-Throttle-Meters for all gases and liquids and pressures up to 200 atms. Special types for liquified gases NH₃, SO₂, CH₃Cl, CO₂, Freon. Mode of operation: A throttle adjustable by a hand lever to settings indicated on a scale is calibrated in conjunction with a small Rotameter installed in a by-pass so that the flow indicated on the scale is always obtained when the top edge of the Rotameter float coincides with a reference mark. Mode of use: To meter an existing flow: The hand lever is rotated until the float is at the mark, the rate of flow is then read from the scale. To set a required rate of flow: The pointer is set to the quantity required and the nearest stop-valve is adjusted until the float is at the mark. Advantages: Great accuracy of measurement. Very long range up to 1 : 50. Very low pressure drop (for gas abt. 8 mm. w. g. {Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} ; for liquids abt. 10 mm. Hg.). 300 Rota-Valvemeter for neutral gases, for pressures up to 4 atms.; standard couplings for pipe lines from ½” to 2”. 301 Rota-Valvemeter as Fig. 300, but for vertical pipe lines. 302 Rota-Valvemeter for liquids with downward suspended indicator fitting; flanged connections for pipe lines to 2” and pressures to 4 atms. 303 Rota-Valvemeter for liquids and pressures to 20 atms. particularly for liquified gases, NH₃, SO₂, CH₃Cl, Freon, for control and testing of refrigeration plant. 304 Control Cock; economical control instrument for industrial furnaces. 305 Rota-Valvemeter as Fig. 302, but for vertical pipe lines. 306 Rota-Flapvalvemeter for neutral gases and pressures to 1 atm. with flanged connections for pipe lines from 50 to 200 mm. 307 Rota-Cockmeter, for liquids and pressures to 0.1 atm. with standard couplings for pipe lines from ½” to 2½”. 308 Rota-Cockmeter, for neutral gases and horizontal pipe lines, otherwise as Fig. 307. 309 Rota-Flapvalvemeter, for liquids under high pressure to 20 atms. and vertical pipe lines from 30 to 150 mm. and over. 310 Rota-Flapvalvemeter, for neutral gases and pressures up to 1 atm.; vertical pipe lines, flanged connections for pipe lines from 50 to 200 mm.
