P. Worth, Esq.,
The India(Production 20 HP. with 4-speed box and Front Wheel Brakes) Tyre & Rubber Co.Ltd.,
Inchinnan,
Scotland.

Dear Mr. Worth,

Thank you for your letter of the 4th June.

We have gone into the question of the position of the wheel relative to the hub and would like if possible to keep the centre of the point of contact of the tyre in the same relative position to the pivot pin as at present. This is to avoid the steering being affected by one brake being more powerful than the other. We think that with the new tyre it will be possible to do this without running into any trouble. We note, however, that the wheels Bramber's will be sending us will have the tyre contact moved out approximately 1/4". These should be quite satisfactory for testing for road holding.

We attach a print, GB.2317, which indicates the wheel we think would be satisfactory for final production if the wider rim gives the anticipated results with regard to road holding.

We have heard from Bramber's and hope to get the wheels this week.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
