If the undershield is put right according to the drawing, the clearance would be 8.18"
With 935 wheels this figure would become 8.97"
The matter stands therefore that we can obtain by fitting a small flywheel, 935 m {Mr Moon / Mr Moore} /m wheels and making the engine guard to drawing, a road clearance of about 9".
We find that the error in fitting the engine guard has occured owing to the fact that the tinsmiths have not worked strictly to drawing, by a verbal arrangement with Mr Spinney. Mr Wormald is arranging for the engine guards to be made in future to drawing.
