BENTLEY 60 ENGINE IN WRAITH 111 CHASSIS - ADDITIONAL FRONT CROSSMEMBER. Please receive herewith :- E.CD.1032 Additional Front Crossmember - B.60 Engine in Wraith lll chassis. This crossmember should be used in conjunction with the front engine support member E.CD.1015 which consists only of the two diagonal sides of a triangle, and from past experience on the Wraith lll cars, we have always found it necessary to tie the chassis side members together adjacent to the engine mounting to reduce transmission of frame distortion through to the engine support member. The crossmember can be produced from strip sheet metal. Will you please detail and instruct for the experimental car. DA. {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
