This, using a co-efficient of friction of .1, and in the case under review, a 3/4" pin 1" long, as the fulcrum pin, and a 5/16" pin 7/8" long for the Master Cylinder Piston, gives a total loss of 4 per cent. The difference between this loss and the total loss is accounted for by the friction of the cups on the walls, and also a small amount of energy absorbed by the gauges.
