| To E. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} H. {Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} & Hay. from RHC. {R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} c. to Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ? 322. REAR ENGINE SUSPENSION BRACKET P3. G.82625. Much difficulty is experienced with the above, in maintaining the correct relation of the steel brackets to each other during the rubber moulding process, this being due to the fact that the brackets present no suitable location for the intricate moulding involved. The actual amount of moulding scrap obtained in the works is 50% of the total produced, and we are thus faced with considerable expense and delay in production. In view of this, we consider that the design of this unit should be revised with the object of providing a more simple moulding than at present used. RHC. {R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Handwritten Text: Les. {Ivan A. Leslie} What about this? KHC.1/29.13.11.36 Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} RHC {R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} should send a copy HS {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} (Note: The text '& Hay.' and the entire 'c. to Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ?' line are struck through on the document) | ||
