| To R. {Sir Henry Royce} from Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to CJ. BJ. c. to RG. {Mr Rowledge} E. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to DA. {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. to Wor. {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} SERVO JAGGERS. We omitted to mention in our Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 2/LG7.12.25. that we have tested the scheme given in DA {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} 's N.sch. 2075in which a spring is fixed to the balancing lever. We did not find this successful in overcoming servo jaggers. We recommend that we arrange for a small amount of flexibility in the engagement of the servo as we have proved that this will definately overcome the fault! Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
