Woodhead made springs or whether we use the Woodhead design Woodhead made springs is a point to be settled. The chief query at present is that the Woodhead deisgn is rather a crude finish and the tips of the springs are not bevelled off which it is anticipated may cause spring squeaks.
4-Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine))-11 has the R-R design Woodhead springs which you complained squeaked. 5-Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine))-11 also has the R-R design Woodhead springs. 6-Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine))-11 has also R-R design Woodhead springs. 7-Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine))-11 has the Woodhead design Woodhead springs but 6/7-Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine))-11 have gaiters (Wefco) fitted.
Do you think it would be advisable for us to supply some Woodhead design springs to be fixed and tested on 6-Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine))-11?

Wheels. No doubt in a week or 10 days time we shall have some further sets of RW. wheels and hubs. The type of wheels to be used is just a point of controversy. Do you think we might, to advantage, supply and fix a set of RW wheels in place of the disc wheels now on 6-Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine))-11. 5-Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine))-11 has Dunlop wire wheels and 7-Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine))-11 has RW. wire wheels.
