ARMATURES AND COMMUTATORS.

Will you please put in hand two armatures, one for each of the above machines, having 41 slots to:-

D.71713 - Armature L.O.P.
D.71713 - Armature Assembly.
D.71708 - Oil Thrower. - 1 off.

If the 45 slot armatures have not been built all the parts can be used, except new wire is required for the coils and a new oil thrower.

The commutators are made, we understand, but they could be undone and new copper fitted (D.71628/9).

The instructions replace those sent to you, reference:-

S.S. Chassis - BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /RD7/ML.30.4.28.

This change in armature will involve an alteration to the bearing bracket, see alterations 2585/6/D.

One set of blueprints herewith.
