Would you please explain to us the following extract from Hancock's report - " Detonation up to 25 m.p.h. new induction pipe fitted" As this appears to be one sentence, we are wondering whether the induction pipe has an influence on the detonation, and if not what is the reason of the new induction pipe being fitted. We had already approved the pipe on this car for appearance, but possibly it is for some technical reason the change has been made. We shall await your reply with interest. Cx. {Major Len W.
