| -2- R {Sir Henry Royce} /EV. {Ivan Evernden - coachwork} 1/MN.30.12.36. of a Four-door, four-light Saloon on the Wraith II chassis. When we receive this in the course of the next day or so it will form the basis on which to make our design, then we can order the third body. General Remarks. 1) We have asked Messrs.Park Ward & Co. to supply us with suggestions for a lighter running board covering than the India(Production 20 HP. with 4-speed box and Front Wheel Brakes) sheet rubber which is now recommended by Sales, as this appears to be rather heavy. 2) Although it is proposed to supply and possibly sell the floatex body mounting parts as an extra to Coachbuilders, and although these parts are not included in the chassis costs it will be necessary for us to obtain these ourselves for the first three cars as the bodies will be mounted in these works. We are asking that these parts be instructed. 3) All three bodies will be fitted with Rhino Cork floor boards and seat boards provided the material comes to hand in time for the first body. If this is not the case we have agreed that the first car may be fitted with standard wooden floor boards. 4) In view of the difficulty of obtaining supplies of Aero glass we are instructing Messrs.Park Ward & Co. to fit Triplex laminated glass to the screens and divisions of 25.G.6 and 24.G.6, the door window and rear light to be of Triplex Toughened.
