| contd:- -2- Before carrying out the experiments we inserted blocks between the axles and the frame in normal position and pulled the springs down to the blocks. The same blocks were used in the same position for each car; the same wheels were used for 3-Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine))-11 and 7-Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine))-11, different wheels for 2-Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine))-11 which were corrected for in the calculation. The figures are for the car with tool-kit, spare wheel in rear, and full petrol tank. We have analysed the roofs of the two cars as far as possible, to see if the extra weight of 7-G-11 was concentrated there. Details are attached.
