| EXPERIMENTAL DEPARTMENT 1036 4th July, 1941. m {Mr Moon / Mr Moore} /CTS. {C. Trot Salt - Carburation} 1/RH. {R. Hollingworth} Messrs. Zenith Carburetter Co., Honeypot Lane, Stanmore, Middlesex. Kestrel(Aero Engine) Carburetter. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter ref: AEP/LT, dated July 2nd. Re your suggestions shown on drawing AX.598, concerning the main jet, we would like you to go ahead on these lines. It should be noted that we would still like you to supply a range of jets for trial purposes, data for which you already have. At this stage, it would help us a lot, to have a delivery date for the Kestrel(Aero Engine) Carburetters, and also the modified Zenith 60 D.C.A., so that we can formulate our test bed programme to suit. It is understood that the 60 D.C.A., will be supplied without waiting for the new air intake casting, as the latter is not essential to our preliminary trial of this carburetter. In the meantime, can you let us have a list of the available range of interchangeable jets, and chokes?. We can then give you some idea of what we would like to be sent with the carburetters. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS ROYCE LIMITED, | ||
