| No 245 DERBY, 23rd Septr 1940. Dear "Sr", I have received many enquiries as to when you are coming to Derby from "Sg {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} ", "Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ", etc. "Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} " is always at the Works, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I suggest, therefore, that, if it can be arranged, you should come up on Saturday evening, spend the week-end with us, be at Derby Monday morning put forward any matters for discussion, and then you can go as soon as you like.
