Finish of Experimental Cars, 26-G-6 and 27-G-6. Your Ref: E {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} /Ev. {Ivan Evernden - coachwork} G/MN.17.3.37. We appreciate your desire to have both these cars in different colours if possible and, as you already have grey and black cars, we suggest the following :- (1) For the 4-door Saloon - Maroon with maroon leather like the car C. is using. (2) For the second Limousine - Dark blue and black with dark blue or black leather to the driver's compartment and cloth to the back. We have asked Park Ward to post you direct some patterns. We might add that we put forward dark blue and black for the Enclosed Limousine because this is the only alternative to all black we would think of employing on a stock car. We note what you write about the specification of the 4-door Saloon. With regard to the illumination of the driver's compartment, you will no doubt see that the switch controlling the instrument patch lights can be easily located in the dark. It ought not to be one of a batch of switches but isolated so that it can be readily identified. Sg. {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} considers this an important point. Hn. {F. C.
