| COPY. x766. To Wor. {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} From Sg. {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} c. to Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} By. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} re. Overheating. Sg {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} 9/21.10.30. X.7250. X.5250. X.766. Referring to Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 4/MJ.18.10.30. and former correspondence as the modification of indenting the tube seems to be a very simple one and the results extraordinarily good, I was wondering whether this was not a case where we could agree without risk to the modification being embodied in production at the very earliest possible moment without waiting for standardisation for completion. I am assuming that the indentations can easily be added to existing stocks of tubes. I should like to have your advice and recommendation on this subject. Sg. {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
