| contd :- -5- (c) Grit between the two pistons. (d) Lost movement on lever E.72459 or between Cap E.72506 and lever E.72504. (2) Ignition will not return from the fully advance position. This may be due to :- (a) Grit between the two pistons. (b) The neck of lever E.72459 fouling the top of piston E.72503 when the governor is fully extended. (c) 'U' leather on piston E.72509 too tight a fit in bore of chamber. (3) Difference between ignition advance and retard curves. This may be due to :- (a) Lost movement as in (1) (d) (b) Stiff 'U' leather as in (2) (c) (c) Incorrect machining of parts on the pistons. (d) Internal governor friction.
