We understood however from the recent memos.
that you feared interference between some of the exhaust
beats affecting volumetric efficiency. We are glad to
hear this is not so.

PETROL PUMP. There will be a petrol pump instead of
the autovac fittings.

PETROL TANK VENT. There will be a central vent on the
rear tank.

RADIATOR CAP. This will have no ventilation or poss-
ibility of spilling water, i.e. non spilling relief valve.

RADIATOR. This will have shorter tubes as we understand
has been adopted on the 2nd. half of 'T' series. They
should be of the larger .309 thin copper tube. It will
not be the higher shouldered radiator.

CARBURETTERS. We hope to send to Derby in 10 days after
Whitsun the drawing of both the head and carburetter (for
pair or singles). Our scheme has jet control and in
arranged for more effective silencing and exhaust heating
near the throttle, and is less liable to get liquid petrol
into the cylinders, (being vertical and having special
starting device instead of strangler.)
