X.3339.THREADED RUBBER SEPARATORS FOR BATTERIES.

In reply to EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 4/T1.2.26. Peto and Radford have written us as follows:-

"We are sorry to say we cannot comply with your "request as the experimental battery was despatched "on the 4th inst. and should reach you very shortly.

"Each alternate cell is marked near its positive "terminal, to indicate how the separators are placed. "Those with the flat face of separators touching the "positive plates, are marked "F+" and those with the "ribs of separators touching the positive plates are "marked "R+".

"Trusting this will enable you to easily distinguish "one from the other.

I am informed that the battery has arrived in Stores, and I have given instructions that same is to be handed to you.

Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead}
