Dear Sirs,

Attention of Mr W. A. {Mr Adams} Robotham.

Further to our previous correspondence introducing the "H & H" COMPOSITE STEEL BRAKE DRUMS, which are designed by ourselves, we would again bring the matter to your notice, especially as in your letter to us of June 16th 1933, Ref: HS {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /KT, you suggested that if we reminded you in about six months time you might be able to take the matter up again.

We have pleasure in enclosing a leaflet describing these drums and illustrating some which have for some time been standardised on pro-duction cars. Many thousands are now in use and there has not been a sin-gle instance of failure. They have also been used on John Cobb's Napier-Railton, and Mr Railton has every praise for their performance as being superior to any other type.

We trust that you will give further consideration to this matter and that we shall have the pleasure of hearing from you favourably.

Yours faithfully,
For Pratt & Manley
