X.4430 Insulation on Goshawk Condenser Lid {A. J. Lidsey}
The production Goshawk condenser lid {A. J. Lidsey} (Nº800) submitted for test has been heated to a temperature of 100°C at which temperature it was maintained for one hour.
There are no signs of shrinkage, the insulation (continental bakelite) appearing quite unaltered, and the connecting strip still firmly held.
