To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Db.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions} re 20/25 HP. Chassis with Smaller Wheels. This memo confirms that at the meeting held at Derby with Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} present on the 13th inst. it was decided to fit rear springs with 1/2" greater camber on the above chassis, and to pack up the front springs with 1/2" thick metal blocks. The former alteration increases the pumping but very little on the brakes and transmission (35% on the transmission bump): the latter maintains present position of the top leaf of the front spring relative to the parallel linkage.
