X.3035 Copy of letter from Tudor Accumulator Co., Ltd. 3, Central Buildings, Matthew Parker Street, Westminster Street, S.W.1. 20.2.19. Dear Sirs, We beg to acknowledge with thanks your esteemed order No. CJ764 of the 19th inst. for 1 Carboy of Acid sp.{Mr Spinney} gr.{George Ratcliffe} 1.250. The price of sulphuric acid delivered f.o.r. London has lately been increased considerably, and the present price for 1 carboy of acid sp.{Mr Spinney} gr.{George Ratcliffe} 1.250 would be 23/-. We could, however, supply 1 carboy of acid sp.{Mr Spinney} gr.{George Ratcliffe} 1.300 delivered f.o.r. Leeds for 19/6 if that sp.{Mr Spinney} gr.{George Ratcliffe} would answer your purpose; it is not possible to obtain acid of sp.{Mr Spinney} gr.{George Ratcliffe} 1.250 from Leeds. In either case the allowance for empty carboys would be 8/6 each. We await the favour of your reply before putting this order in hand. Yours faithfully, The Tudor Accumulator Co., Ltd. | ||
