Mr. Geyer,
The Inland Manufacturing Co.,
DAYTON, OHIO, U.S.A.

Dear Mr. Geyer,

We have been running a lot of tests on Inlox Bushes and comparing them with the Silentbloc bush, which is the standard bush of this type in England.

We cannot see any advantage in the roll-over end of the Inlox Bush with regard to increased capacity of the bearing for taking end thrust. The ordinary Silentbloc Bush seems to do just as well. We admit the roll-over increases the rating of the bush in end thrust, but seems to have little or no effect on its durability.

We are sending you an order for some more bushes so that we can continue our tests, but we should be interested to know whether you are still of the opinion that the roll-over is essential when any end thrust has to be catered for.

Kind regards and every good wish for 1938,

Yours sincerely,

P.S. I understand that General Motors are proposing to manufacture more components in England, and should be interested to know whether there is any suggestion of the Inland Manufacturing Co. having a subsidiary Factory in England.
