Dear Sirs,

Referring to our letter of 11th. inst., and the sample tee hose connection to EB.3748 which you sent us, we understand that you have now forwarded a quotation for this piece and that this is 422/-d.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} per 100 connections.

This represents a large increase over your original estimate given to the writer (approx. 2/6) and we fear that it will make it unlikely that we shall use this piece in production, unless you can see your way to making a substantial reduction in this figure.

We would be interested to hear the reason for this price increase.
