Oil, " 1 pt. oil " 2528 m.p.g.
Oil pressure 30 lbs.sq.in. water temp. 170°F.{Mr Friese}

Maximum speed attained on Towcester Rd. 80 m.p.g.
No boiling of water occurred during 45 minutes of crawling in heavy traffic.
The car generally gave one an extremely pleasant ride, easy to handle, steering light and good for lack of joggle, suspension marvelous, engine very smooth and acceleration good all the way up the scale.
The brakes are not quite as good as they might be when braking at high speeds, below 40 m.p.h. they are alright if fairly heavy pedal pressure is applied.
Front end movement is very slight but can be noticed on a bad road.
Clutch smooth in operation.
Gearbox 1st. gear noisy, 2nd. very good for noise. Synchromesh very good.
Rear axle quiet everywhere, above average American standard for axles.
No vibration from propellor shaft.
Persistant rattle from low speeds when accelerating, seems to be either from engine gears or gear box, to be investigated.
