WSC.{W. S. Cassel} 6066 W/S. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}8/R.22.5.37. MELLOTONE HORN FOR THE BENTLEY. Replying to Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}9/KW19.5.37., we do not want to obstruct features which help Sales' Dept. As you know, we have never considered the Mellotone horn to be satisfactory, and said so on the Standardisation Sheet, but in spite of this it has been fitted to the P.III, and in view of your note re the Bentley, you apparently consider that its merits outweigh its defects. Therefore, unless we hear to the contrary, we will bring these horns in on the Bentley as soon as possible. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
