| 1031 EXPERIMENTAL DEPARTMENT. Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /CTS. {C. Trot Salt - Carburation} 9/JH. 12th. June, 1939. The S.U. Carburetter Co.Ltd., Adderley Park, BIRMINGHAM.8. For the attention of Mr. Skinner. Dear Sirs, With reference to your 1.750 (throttle bore) carburetters. Can you please supply two pairs of these, having cast in steel throttle bushes, and general specification similar in other respects to the production specification for the H.4. These are for fitting to an engine giving more power than the normal B.V. unit, but we wish to make the carburetters look more different to the H.4. than they do at present. Will you please have the dash pots polished, leaving all other external parts dull black and nickel. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
