X.2894 RE 10,000 MILE TEST - BATTERY IGNITION TUNGSTEN POINTS X.3644

We are handing you back herewith the plate and screw which you fitted with tungsten points. These were tried on the road and found to be satisfactory on the standard ignition. We now require these to be fitted to 2 Ex car for the 10,000 mile test. We would like to suggest that these be marked in some distinctive way so as to prevent them being confused with platinum points. A plate and screw fitted with platinum points should be carried on the car in case of emergency.
