Continuation Sheet No...1...... CAMBRIDGE INSTRUMENT COMPANY, LIMITED. Messrs Rolls-Royce, Ltd. (Cont'd) would be required, but as it is obviously necessary for your purpose to get the couples into a very small space it is not practicable to put too many couples in series. The measurements you require, therefore, we think would only be possible if we could supply you with a more sensitive millivoltmeter. If you would like us to proceed with this matter might we suggest that you send us a drawing of the actual parts where you wish to measure temperatures, marking the drawing at the exact places you require the temperatures to be measured. We should then be able to consider the design of a such small thermo-couples which might be suitable for obtaining the temperatures you want, used in conjunction with one of our sensitive portable millivoltmeters. Yours faithfully, for CAMBRIDGE INSTRUMENT Co. LTD. [Signature] Joint Managing Director. | ||
