Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} C. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} X8230 BY2/G.23.3.28. E.76670. SINGLE DOWNTAKE EXHAUST PIPE - PHANTOM ENGINE. Referring to RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}17/BR.2.11.27. Accles & Pollock had interested themselves in making a Staybrite pipe for the single downtake proposal. We had forgotten about this pipe being in hand, but as a matter of fact they were being done free of charge which cause us to overlook them. Accles & Pollock finished the pipes off, and have left one with me as a sample. If you fit up a single down pipe on a car, we would suggest that you use the Staybrite pipe herewith as part of the unit, as it is certainly excellently finished and will entirely prevent corrosion.
