Dear Sirs, We have to acknowledge receipt of your esteemed letter of the 17th instant, addressed to our Mr. Armitage, and handed to the writer for attention. With regard to the 10.C.F. clutch, we propose to align ream cover holes from machined bore of pressure plate, this dimension being 5.560/5.564". Regarding the 12.C.B. clutch, as cover should be stiff owing to its additional thickness, we may adopt the existing method applied to the 10.A3 and 11.A3 assemblies as now taken by you. We would, however, prefer to decide definitely on this matter after we have had the opportunity of examining a unit. We thank you for your promise to forward covering order for two 12.C.B. assemblies. Finally, we would confirm the figure as mentioned your letter as being correct for the 10.C.F. clutch complete with standard driven plate, it being appreciated that the tool cost of approximately £110. is spread over 1000 assemblies. £2-15-0 Yours faithfully, BORG & BECK COMPANY LIMITED.
