COPY. X7360. To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} From Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}1/D8.11.32. X5360. Re. Braking. You will remember that we have been talking about increasing the proportion of braking on the front wheels for some little time, and when I was at Derby last week you said that a Standardisation Sheet was going round for this. I should be glad if I could have information as to how soon it will be possible to introduce this modification on production. The above refers to 40/50 in particular, but arising out of Sir Malcolm Campbell's criticism, I asked Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} to enquire from you what it was proposed to do in regard to the 20/25. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} P.S. Please let me know what the new proportions of braking will be. I take it that it will be the same as now on 58-GN. but I am not sure what that is. | ||
