We have lately made our cars go at least 10% faster, and with the same or lower gears, hence engine speeds are often 20% higher than formerly.
Therefore high speed vibrations must be increased as the square of this speed, and this is the cause of some of your complaints.
But ordinary people only use this increase of power for acceleration and hills, and hence will not be troubled with high speed defects any more than formerly.
