DIRECTIONS. For the average car the cooling system capacity of which is 2 1/2 gallons, drain off all the water in the system and replace with the contents of one tin of RAD, thoroughly mix with two gallons of hot water. The tin of RAD should be warmed after opening and then inverted into the water. An alternative method is to start the engine and run until the water is hot. From the radiator draw off about one gallon of hot water into a pail, unscrew the stopper of the tin of RAD and allow the tin to stand in the hot water for a few minutes, then whilst the engine is still running, pour the contents of the tin of RAD into the radiator. A little more or less water may be used without altering the efficiency of the material. The only further attention required during the whole winter will be to add from time to time sufficient water to replace evaporation losses.
