Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}9/ML. 10.9.40. Messrs The British Power Boat Co.Ltd., Hythe. SOUTHAMPTON. For the attention of Mr. G.Wells. Dear Sirs, Further to our conversation on Friday last regarding the power driven mounting and gun for a prototype boat which you are constructing. This is to confirm that we hope to be able to co-operate with you in this matter. You will appreciate however, that neither our power driven mounting or the fully automatic gun are as yet fully developed and therefore at the moment, it is difficult for us to predict when we shall be in a position to supply a satisfactory unit. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS ROYCE LTD., | ||
